Hi, I'm Gopala, the visionary behind Rainbow Kids Yoga! For three decades, I've dedicated my life to transforming children's lives through yoga, certifying over 35,000 educators worldwide since 2007.
Together, we're making a real difference, one child, one school, one family, and one community at a time.
My mission is simple: to bring joy, relevance, and engagement to yoga for
young hearts and minds. Post pandemic, I'm excited to introduce new innovations to our local youth, helping them radiate happiness, confidence, and resilience.

Hi,
I took Rainbow Yoga Training in Bethesda, MD many years ago and decided to enroll in Additional Needs since I have started 2 programs with Yoga with people with different abilities at different places I've worked. i believe all children deserve the ability to express themselves physically and have fun with others -- this class provides the building blocks to enrich children's lives at different levels and open up skillsets they may not have realized they had --- it's basically for everyone , since soooo many different peoples have differing ability levels, and allows you to adapt your teaching to many different kinds of people, of all ages and ability levels.
Three days were not enough! Learning from fellow teachers and yoga practitioners was an amazing experience. A huge thanks to our trainer, Teacher Bo, and ambassador, Teacher Tanya, who shared their wonderful insights on Rainbow Kids. They taught us how to bring the program to all age groups and all types of learners.
Getting to do the training in person was so insightful—it allowed us to put theory into practice and ask questions as they came up. The community we formed is absolutely wonderful, and I'm excited for all of us to collaborate on this advocacy for play, child-led learning, and movement!
I never thought that yoga for kids would be so fun and fulfilling at the same time. I’m so excited to bring everything i have learned to the classroom! I was curious about the concept of kids yoga, and throughout the course, I truly enjoyed learning about it through so many fun examples and explanations. Every time I watched a video, I couldn’t wait to try it out with children myself. I also realized that yoga is not a serious or rigid form of exercise, but something joyful and fun, which made this experience even more meaningful for me. Thank you for your wonderful teaching and sharing experiences. I will definitely recommend Rainbow Kids Yoga to my friends!
This is a great resource and has helped with running family yoga sessions. I’ve used the fruit and vegetable yoga pose pictures in one of the sessions and the children and parents chose a fruit or vegetable pose for the group.
I love that I can have the online version but also a hars copy. I'm a very visual learner so all the pictures are great for me
It's not an exaggeration to say that this training not only improved my kids yoga teaching but improved me and my families time together. The training was very practical and I have been able to apply the principals and theories to my parenting as well as kids yoga classes. This kids yoga book is honestly the only one I think I’ll ever need (unless Gopala and the team bring out another!). It’s so comprehensive and beautifully laid out. I’d highly recommend it to anyone wanting to teach yoga to kids — whether in educational settings or just at home with the family.

It was a beautiful reminder of how to bring joy and connection into yoga teaching. I learned how to adapt a class for kids of all different ages, how to take something small and simple and turn it into something magical with movement, music, and imagination.

This is such a brilliant course, the way it’s broken down makes learning so much easier as I can easily go back and forth checking things or revisiting and practicing again. It’s fabulous for technical information and important principles and has really helped me develop my own teaching style too. I really feel my confidence growing as it covers everything I was hoping for and more. Would definitely recommend!

I'm currently at half of level 1 and i'm very happy. There are videos, pictures, written explanation... A lot of useful contents! It's a little bit challenging for me because i'm italian so i have to concentrate and i need time to do the homeworks. But there are subtitles that helped me when i didn't understand a word.
I appreciate the creative part! So fin!
