Teach Kids Yoga in India — 2026 Volunteer Dates Now Open

Rainbow Yoga is partnering with Yoga Gives Back and Edu-GIRLS (Dau Dayal School, Agra—near the Taj Mahal) to bring kids yoga and mindfulness to girls in India—building focus, resilience, joy, and community.

Use your yoga to create real change — for yourself and for others. Yoga Without Borders is a new initiative that invites certified kids yoga teachers to volunteer in India, empowering girls from underserved communities with yoga, mindfulness, and love.

In partnership with Yoga Gives Back and Edu-GIRLS, this program brings yoga directly into girls’ schools in Agra (near the Taj Mahal). Volunteers lead daily classes, short classroom-based mindfulness breaks, and age-appropriate sessions that help students manage stress, build confidence, and connect with one another. From playful yoga for preschoolers to meaningful conversations with teens about self-image and resilience, every class nurtures both body and spirit.

Why India? While yoga was born there, access in schools is still rare. Edu-GIRLS invited us because they see yoga as a powerful tool to support their students’ growth. As Vandana from Edu-GIRLS says:

“Staying and interacting with international community gives our girls exposure to the global world and widens their horizon to open their wings and fly freely.”

This is more than a teaching program — it’s a cultural exchange, an act of service, and a chance to honor yoga’s roots while uplifting young lives.

This year’s spots are already filled with AMAZING people.

Volunteer in 2026 (Jan, Feb, Oct, Nov, Dec) — safe accommodation, meals, laundry, airport pickup, mentorship, and a small stipend are included.
