The world is paralyzingly not OK. You are not OK. Everything is not OK. But, this is the beauty of life… Later today or tomorrow or next week it will be ok.
Because life always moves forward… Or one step back and two steps forward… Like a dance. The fact is, that you cannot get more stupid :-) - With every experience, pleasant or unpleasant, we grow, we become wiser.
If nothing never happen to us, who would we be? We would be so flat and boring. Our experiences and how we overcame the tribulations make us the wonderful and strong people we are.
Surfing The Waves of Emotions
Our job in in this class is to learn to surf the waves of our emotions, so we can stay afloat and enjoy life. If we manage our thoughts and feel our feelings, we are able to ride the waves with ease.
Rather than get stuck and attached to our thoughts and feelings, we can choose to arrive fully to the shores of our bodies and minds.
For a lot of us, our emotions feel like giant ocean waves with big high swells and lower-than-normal troughs. If you try to control that kind of force, you will be beaten back to the shore, pounded with water, and end up exhausted and possibly even needing to be rescued.

If you think good things about yourself, you will tend to see and interpret others’ words and actions as good. It all starts from the inside… Two people may have the same experience but take it in two very different ways depending on their inner state.
Resilience - You Are Stronger Than You Think
Sometimes bad stuff happens.
We all have tough times in life.
Tough times require finding your courage and getting tougher, but staying soft at the same time as well.
Being resilient is getting back up after you fall.
And being better for it despite and because of it all somehow.
All children are capable of extraordinary things. There is no happiness gene, no success gene, and no ‘doer of extraordinary things’ gene.
The potential for happiness and greatness lies in all of them, and will mean different things to different kids.
We can’t change that they will face challenges along the way. What we can do is give them the skills so these challenges are never able to break them. We can build their resilience.
Resilience is being able to bounce back from stress, challenge, tragedy, trauma or adversity.
