Over 30 years of method-building

Building Rainbow Yoga

Rainbow Yoga was founded in 2007 from a longer journey of teaching, testing and refining ways for adults to create meaningful movement, play, cooperation, imagination and calm with children and families.

Current role

Leading the online pathway

Gopala leads the current Level 1, Full Journey, Level 2, Additional Needs and Spanish Online learning. Dharak leads Anatomy and Physiology.

Creator

Books, cards and teaching tools

Gopala creates Rainbow Yoga’s books, cards and practical teaching resources so the method can remain useful beyond a single training.

What experience taught him

Children do not need another performance test

They need adults who can build spaces where movement, play, belonging, courage, calm, imagination and genuine connection are possible.

Rainbow Yoga is not a gallery of perfect poses. It is a teaching method built around participation, relationship and practical judgement. Adults learn to create a class journey, read the group, offer choice, invite cooperation and adapt when the children in front of them need something different.

Gopala’s role on this website is deliberately connected to the work he currently leads. The biography is here to help visitors understand who created the method, who teaches the online pathway and why the learning is structured as it is.
