Yoga Without Borders

Learning Connected to Service, Dignity and Local Partnership

Yoga Without Borders connects Rainbow Yoga’s teaching mission with community-led education and service. The purpose is contribution, not rescue.

Work through local partners

Rainbow Yoga collaborates with organisations including Yoga Gives Back and local education partners. Local priorities, safeguarding and community knowledge lead the work.

Current partner settings

Programme records include work connected with Dau Dayal Girls School near Agra and Deenabandhu School & Home near Mysore. Current opportunities are confirmed directly before anyone travels or volunteers.

Protect dignity

Children and beneficiaries are never marketing scenery. Stories, photographs and programme details are published only when consent, context and any required credit are established.

What responsible involvement looks like

  • Learn the method before presenting yourself as ready to serve.
  • Listen to teachers, local partners and communities before planning activities.
  • Stay within your role and avoid clinical, therapeutic or rescue claims.
  • Use adaptable movement, play and connection tools rather than importing a rigid programme.
  • Respect safeguarding, privacy, consent and cultural context.

From training to contribution

Build the skills first, then ask where they may be useful

Graduates can explore current community involvement through a human conversation after they understand the Rainbow Yoga approach and its responsibilities.

No exploitation

Impact should be described with care

Public impact information must come from current programme records and should never turn hardship into a conversion device.
