More to see
A bigger pathway should feel alive before you begin
The Full Journey is practical, human and embodied. You are choosing depth, range and a community-minded way of teaching.
Watch the feeling
Start by feeling Level 1, then choose the complete pathway.
Begin with the joyful Level 1 foundation, then grow your teaching range through Level 2’s deeper learning across ages, settings and participation needs.
A real taste of the teaching
See the lessons. Feel the possibilities.
These short extracts come from Rainbow Yoga’s actual course lessons. See how an idea becomes movement, play and connection before you choose your next step.
Level 1: a practical foundation
Build a whole class journey with purposeful play, children’s ideas and room for different ways to join in.
A class has a journey
Connect, yoga poses, something fun and quiet time: see how the four-part class structure gives you a starting point.
Yoga Sculptures
See imaginary threads and verbal instructions turn shared shapes into a playful game.
Optional English captions are automatically generated and may contain errors.
Sketch a class before you teach
Use the Class Structure preview as a prompt for your own planning.
- Choose an age group and a theme you would like to explore.
- Write four headings: Connect, Yoga Poses, Something Fun and Quiet Time. Put one idea beneath each.
- Ask where children could contribute an idea, and where you could offer a different way to join, watch or rest.
Level 1 helps you develop that class journey through learning, practice and assessed teaching.
Explore Level 1 and its assessmentLevel 2: deeper teaching possibilities
Grow your range through creative sequencing, group connection and practical choices for different teaching settings.

Use the Level 2 previews to reflect on a group or setting you would like to teach.
- Name the ages, setting and purpose of your imagined class.
- Choose one idea from the sequencing, shared-shape or chair preview. Note the questions it raises about pace, language, space and participation.
- Write one choice you would offer and one question you would explore before teaching it. Include room to watch or rest.
The Full Journey connects your Level 1 foundation with the deeper Level 2 study, practice and assessment that help you develop a wider teaching range.

Evidence-informed joy
Play is not a decoration. It is serious learning wearing a brighter outfit.
Research on school mindfulness, yoga, movement, guided play and educational relationships points toward something Rainbow Yoga has practised for decades: children learn best when they feel safe, active, connected and invited to participate.
Yoga and mindfulness, adapted for children
Reviews of school-based yoga and mindfulness describe promising outcomes for attention, self-regulation and wellbeing, with an important caution: study quality varies, and the practice must be age-appropriate.
Play with purpose
Guided-play research supports a balance of child choice and sensitive adult guidance. That is why our games have intention, adaptation and reflection, not just noise and movement.
Relationship is part of the method
Research on belonging and teacher-student relationships links supportive connection with stronger social, emotional and learning outcomes. Rainbow Yoga trains adults to lead connection, not just poses.
We do not promise medical or therapeutic outcomes. We teach practical, human, adaptable tools you can use within your professional, family or community role.
One connected pathway
Level 1 Gives You the Foundation. Level 2 Gives You the Range.
Choose the Full Journey when you already know that a first step is not your final destination. The pathway moves from building joyful, coherent classes into broader work across ages, families, schools, teens, inclusion and more complex group dynamics.

Clear teaching roles
Gopala leads the core pathway. Dharak leads the Anatomy and Physiology component.
