Yoga is more than yoga poses, and in its holistic approach towards the human, it beautifully cares for our bodies, minds and hearts. Through movement, breathing, mindfulness, playfulness, creativity, sharing and connecting by connecting to ourselves and each other more deeply we can teach young people to ground and centre themselves and find new balance and peace within themselves.
It’s pretty hard to be a human in a world that’s not so human anymore.
We are not made for this speed, sensory bombardment, being switched on and on-demand all the time... So until our genetics adjust to this new and rapidly evolving situation, we will all need yoga and mindfulness to help us cope.
